Guildhall Announced as Safe Haven in the City

Our Safe Havens scheme, has a new major location - Guildhall in the Square Mile, London.

The beautiful 15th century building now has stickers in the windows and on the doors to inform people - city workers, visitors, and residents - that this is a safe location where they can receive information, a place to sit, a friendly face, police intervention, or even free wifi and water if they need it.

There is 24/7 access possible to the Guildhall West Wing and the north entrance is open between 8am - 6pm everyday.

No one wants to feel vulnerable or unsafe, but we know it happens. That is why we put so much time, effort, and energy into expanding the Safe Havens scheme to provide refuge for as many women and girls as possible.

Safe Havens is all part of a number initiatives being introduced to prevent VAWG & domestic abuse across The City of London as part of Our Safer City
