Friday night briefings
Safer Business Network organise and deliver intelligence briefings to members as part of our partnerships. The briefings provide an opportunity to bring businesses together, and to share intelligence on local criminals operating within the night-time economy. The open forums also provide opportunities to joint problem solve. Members of the local policing team and Business Improvement Districts support the work.
Best Bar None
Safer Business Network is proud to support the Best Bar None initiative. Best Bar None is a Home Office approved national award scheme aimed at promoting responsible management and operations of licensed premises. Our staff are trained at delivering accreditation to businesses and we work alongside several existing Best Bar None schemes across our BCRPs to support the night the time economy
Training & upskilling
Safer Business Network coordinate and deliver training sessions to our members on a range of safety and securing topics. This year alone we have trained 600 businesses and stakeholders on important business priorities such as WAVE - welfare & vulnerability engagement, Project Diffuse, acid attack awareness, counter terrorism and crime scene preservation. We are always looking for new areas to focus training on, important to our business community, and remember all training is free as part of your membership.
