REFUSAL OF SERVICE
This session aims to familiarise all staff in your business with intoxication, it’s causes and how to prevent it. It will also examine legal responsibilities.
We also examine the importance of refusal of service and techniques to reduce conflict when refusing service.
At the end of this session you will be able to:
Identify the signs of intoxication
Explore how to prevent intoxication
Understand the law in relation to intoxication
Identify how to record and report intoxication within your business
Identify the main Do’s when it comes to refusal of service
Identify the main Dont’s when it comes to refusal of service
Have the confidence to refuse service and know how to log these refusals or ejections

This course is designed to be delivered in licensed premises and is aimed at anyone who is a frontline member of staff, security and management.
