AGE VERIFCATION AWARENESS

This training sessions provides those dealing with entry checks or alcohol sales with their legal knowledge when it comes to ID policy, checking ID and refusal of service.

Learning Objectives          

 

At the end of this session you will be able to:

 

  • Understand what products are age restricted

  • Understand the nature of test purchases and the impact of failing one

  • Identify why an age verification policy is important

  • Explore what a Challenge ID policy is

  • Know the difference between acceptable and unacceptable ID

  • Understand your legal duties

  • Identify key security features of main ID types

  • Have the confidence to refuse service and know how to log these refusals or ejections

Who should attend?

 

Anyone in your business who sells age restricted products, is responsible for ensuring that age policies are enforced or those in your business who manage either of these topics.

Delivery Method

 

This is a briefing style presentation with the opportunity for candidates to ask questions and share their personal experiences.

All candidates will receive a briefing sheet to take away with them.
