CRIME SCENE PRESERVATION

This session aims to train you and your staff how to provide the best possible evidence pack to the Police in order to support prosecutions of offenders and reduce the time you spend away from your duties.

Learning Objectives          

 

At the end of this session you will be able to:

 

  • Recognise the priorities during a serious incident

  • Know how to identify, preserve and protect the crime scenes

  • Be able to communicate with your customers, authorities and the public

  • Understand how to make a decision on the seriousness of an incident and what actions are proportionate to deal with it

  • Understand what a crime scene is

  • Know what when a serious incident takes place

  • Recognise the importance of recording an incident

Who should attend?

 

Whilst this session is designed for managers, operations staff and security working with a safety and security remit - there are important points that are relevant to any frontline staff.

This is a briefing style presentation with the opportunity for candidates to ask questions and share their personal experiences.
