Your Bromley launch SBN Link

Safer Business Network is delighted to have teamed up with Your Bromley as part of our latest offering to BIDs in London. Our SBN Link product brings together our years of expertise in customer service, partner engagement and information sharing into one service for BIDs and is accredited to the agreed National Standards through NABCP. This newest partnership in Bromley Town Centre as part of their BID renewal is the clearest way to demonstrate to their levy-payers their commitment to safety and crime reduction in the town centre.

Hannah Wadey and Rita King, Joint Chief Executive Officers for Safer Business Network, said:

“We are delighted to be working with Your Bromley and its members to introduce our latest BCRP as part of our new SBN Link Service for BIDs. For over 10 years we have worked alongside BIDs to complement their commitment to place management and we look forward to making a real difference to the local community in this area.”

Funded by Your Bromley, the BCRP aims to bring businesses closer together with key partners and community stakeholders to combat crime and anti-social behaviour in their local area and address the economic damage crime can have on individual businesses.

Frances Forest, BID Manager for Your Bromley said:

“By reviewing our safe and secure project areas and managing our intelligence platform, Safer Business Network help us to provide our high street businesses with important crime prevention advice and critical information on offenders via the Disc platform. Thanks to this, we’ve recovered over £20,000 worth of stolen stock. This valuable support helped us on our way to a successful renewal

ballot this year”.

Continuing the successful use of the Disc system in Bromley, businesses can instantly view and share photographs and information on known offenders operating in the town centre.

Charlie Newman, of Littoralis, providers of the Disc system said:

"We're delighted SBN Link is now helping Your Bromley to drive down low-level business crime and ASB for the benefit of its local levy-payers. SBN Link can really strengthen business crime and ASB reduction schemes like Bromley and other BIDs and has an impressive track record of success. Individual schemes across London that use Disc can each be networked together to help identify travelling and prolific offenders. Many of them are already managed by SBN, so we're really excited by the prospect of a London-wide network of Disc systems under SBN Link".

Partnership work is the key to success; working together with the police, Bromley businesses are at the heart of keeping everyone safe, creating a thriving shopping destination for all.
