This session aims to train you and your staff how to provide the best possible evidence pack to the Police in order to support prosecutions of offenders and reduce the time you spend away from your duties.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session you will be able to:

Explore what evidence is, and its different types

Understand impact statements and their purpose

Understand the difference between good and bad evidence

Know how to write a good statement, give a good description and exhibit CCTV

Use the Met Police Evidence Pack for Business

Understand what happens to the reports provided to the Police

Explore what good incident reporting looks like?
Delivery Method
This is an interactive training session based around facilitated group discussions using the course content and the candidates knowledge and experience to deal with the learning objectives.
All candidates will receive a briefing sheet to take away with them.
